If you are new to Pilates, our new client consultation is where to begin. It is the starting point for us to get acquainted, for you to see what Pilates at Active Balance is all about, and for me to evaluate the best starting point and learning environment for you.
The goals of the initial consult are to discuss your top fitness and lifestyle goals and introduce you to some Pilates exercises that will show you how we will address these goals with the Pilates Method. From this preview into the Pilates Method, expect to feel more connected to your powerhouse or your center and become aware of moving your body in a new way.
We recommend that all new clients start with the “new client consultation”.

Following this consultation, you may choose from the following packages:

One-on-One Intro package: 4 sessions / $250. This is your personalized introduction to the Pilates Method. These first sessions are equal parts movement and conversation, to introduce the Pilates concepts and build a rapport. These beginning sessions help us define your individual starting point, and create your personalized cues and building blocks to help you create a strong foundation for progress, whether you continue with solo sessions or prefer to continue with small group offerings.

Intro package of 4 duet lessons: $150, per person. If you are getting get started with a friend or family member, this is a great place to start. Duet sessions are designed with both students’ goals in mind. However, if the partners have very different movement needs, we may recommend that one or both students add a private session to their intro package, ($215)
Interested in joining a Trio equipment class?
If you would like to join a trio class, we require that you begin with the initial consultation, so we can evaluate you and determine if we have a suitable class for you. Our classes are small and they are mostly formed organically with individuals of similar abilities and/or goals.
We do offer a Pilates 101 series, a few times a year. Please reach out to get your name on a waitlist to join this beginning Pilates series, if you are interested in starting with a small group class.
